LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider, tracing its roots to the London Stock Exchange's founding in 1801. LSEG itself was created in October 2007 through the merger of London Stock Exchange and Borsa Italiana, and has since grown through major acquisitions including FTSE Russell, LCH Group, and Refinitiv (completed January 2021) into a diversified international markets business serving clients across data & analytics, capital markets, and post-trade services in over 170 countries.
