Its flagship ST Series Service Edge Routers, powered by proprietary ShadeTree software, served carriers including Korea Telecom, Dacom, and Level 3 Communications. The company raised roughly $118 million in venture funding from New Enterprise Associates, Trinity Ventures, and Ciena before Israeli telecom vendor ECI Telecom acquired it for $88 million in 2005; the Pittsburgh office was shut down in 2011-2012.
