High performance propulsion at low cost
Launcher develops the E-2 liquid rocket engine — a LOX/Kerosene oxidizer-rich staged combustion engine designed to be the most efficient rocket engine for small launch vehicles. Approximately 75% 3D-printed by mass, the E-2 achieves a sea-level Isp of 290s and vacuum Isp of 327s with a thrust of 22,000 lbf. Originally founded as a launch vehicle company, Launcher was acquired by Vast in February 2023 and now focuses exclusively on the E-2 engine as a product for sale to launch vehicle manufacturers. Headquartered in Hawthorne, California.
