About
King Salman International Airport (KSIA), a Public Investment Fund project, is a mega-airport under development north of Riyadh, announced by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on November 28, 2022. Spanning roughly 57 square kilometers, the development includes six runways, six passenger terminals, an iconic terminal, a royal terminal, a private aviation terminal, and a cargo and logistics hub. KSIA is designed to serve up to 100 million passengers annually by 2030, scaling toward 185 million passengers and 3.5 million tons of cargo per year by 2050, positioning Riyadh as a global gateway for trade, tourism, and logistics under Saudi Vision 2030.
