KDT LLC, operating as Knudra Transgenics, is a University of Utah spin-out that creates custom bioengineered organisms for biomedical research using proprietary genome engineering technology. The company supplies researchers with custom transgenic C. elegans, zebrafish, and mice through its TavaServ manufacturing service, enabling disease biology research and drug discovery screening. NIH SBIR funding supports development of its RecombiREAD zebrafish transgenesis reagent.
