About
Juno was a New York City-based ride-hailing app founded in 2016 by Talmon Marco, the co-founder of Viber, positioned as a driver-friendly alternative to Uber and Lyft. It took a smaller commission from every ride and initially planned to give drivers half of the founder's equity by 2026. Gett acquired Juno in 2017 for $200 million, and the service ceased all NYC operations in November 2019, directing customers to Lyft instead.
