JokeDAO

jokedao (publicly known as JokeRace) is an onchain governance and contest protocol that lets token-holders both submit proposals and vote on their favorites, enabling bottom-up, community-set decision-making for grants, endorsements, bounties, curation and contests. Built to be fully on-chain across multiple networks including Optimism, Polygon and Arbitrum, the platform lets communities create tokenless contests where anyone can submit entries and the community votes to pick winners. Projects such as Polygon, Farcaster and Bankless have used JokeRace to run competitions, debates and hackathons that incentivize participation. The project was co-founded by David Phelps and Sean McCaffery in 2022.
