Intercytex

Intercytex was a Manchester, UK-based regenerative medicine company founded in 2000 that developed cell-based therapy products — including the ICX-SKN skin graft substitute and hair-regeneration treatments — for burns, chronic wounds, and hair loss, running multiple clinical trials in the UK. Facing financial difficulty, the company wound down between 2009 and 2010, selling its stem-cell subsidiary Axordia to Pfizer and other cell-based assets to Healthpoint.
