Integreat

Integreat is a free, open-source digital integration platform developed to help newly arrived migrants and refugees access locally relevant information in their own language. Originally conceived in 2015, the platform provides an offline-capable app, website, and PDF brochure that municipalities, counties, and federal states in Germany can manage and update. Content covers local services, events, and counseling centers and is licensed under Creative Commons (CC BY 4.0), enabling jurisdictions to share and reuse content. The project is financed through cooperation agreements with partner municipalities and prioritizes impact over profit, with full transparency via annual impact reports and an MIT-licensed codebase under the Public Money, Public Code initiative.
