InReality

InReality is a Copenhagen-based deep tech startup building cryptographic content authentication infrastructure to combat AI-generated misinformation and fraud. Unlike detection-based approaches that rely on AI to guess whether content is fake, InReality takes a proactive approach: signing real content with cryptographic signatures at the moment of capture, creating verifiable proof of authenticity that cannot be spoofed. The three-step process — Check, Sign, Verify — allows organizations to certify content at creation and enables any viewer to independently confirm its authenticity. The platform integrates directly into client applications without requiring separate app downloads. Primary use cases include insurance (authenticating damage documentation at first notice of loss to prevent fraudulent claims) and news media (certifying user-submitted content before publication to maintain journalistic integrity). InReality is a member of the C2PA (Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity) and the Deloitte Innovation Accelerator, and has received grants from Direct Denmark and Innovation Foundation Denmark.
