Impeto Medical

Impeto Medical is a privately owned medical device company founded in June 2005, headquartered in Issy-les-Moulineaux (Paris), France, with a US office in San Diego, California. The company developed SUDOSCAN, a non-invasive diagnostic device that measures sudomotor function to enable early detection and follow-up of peripheral autonomic neuropathies, particularly in diabetic patients. SUDOSCAN provides results in under three minutes, enabling physicians to screen larger patient populations for diabetes complications, neurological conditions, and chemotherapy-induced neuropathy without invasive procedures. In November 2021, Impeto Medical's activities were fully acquired by Withings, a European connected health company.
