iMetrikus, Inc. was a San Diego-based biotechnology start-up that developed technology — including its MediCompass and MetrikLink systems — to remotely capture and monitor patient health data, improving treatment compliance for chronic conditions like asthma, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. Backed by over $150 million in advances from biochemist Dr. Thomas Rutter between 1999 and 2013, the company relaunched under the name Numera in 2011, shifting its focus to an FDA-cleared telehealth gateway for electronic medical record integration.
