Leading Online Grocery App
HappyFresh (formerly iCart) was the first and fastest-growing online grocery delivery platform in Southeast Asia. Founded in October 2014 and modeled after Instacart, the platform allowed consumers in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand to order groceries from local supermarkets for same-day or one-hour delivery. At its peak, HappyFresh operated across multiple Southeast Asian markets and raised at least $97 million in funding. The company ceased operations in Malaysia in 2022 after facing operational challenges but continued efforts to restructure. Its primary market was Indonesia, where it was headquartered in Jakarta.
