Founded in 2013, Hixme is a WorkPlace Market platform that enables large employers to move away from the traditional group health insurance model. Workers gain access to thousands of direct-to-consumer health plans and personalized coverage bundles (Hixme Bundles) that integrate self-funded mechanisms with health insurance, fintech, and insurtech components. The platform uses actuarial modeling tools like BundleMe™ to help employers and workers compare coverage options and costs. Hixme has raised $26.6 million from Kleiner Perkins, Propel Venture Partners, Rosemark Capital, and Transamerica Ventures.
