The company's software tracked the entire lifecycle of retail automotive customers, facilitating the management, retention, and conversion of customer leads. At its peak the company served customers in 47 of 50 US states. Higher Gear received investment from private equity firm H.I.G. Capital in 2010 and was acquired by OneCommand in January 2014.
