Helixworks Technologies is a Cork, Ireland-based deep-tech company at the forefront of DNA Data Storage technology. They store digital information — including videos, photos, and datasets — in synthetic DNA molecules, offering a radically compact and durable alternative to conventional storage media. With backing from SOSV and EIC Transition, their research team of scientists and engineers is developing Molecular Storage Systems (MoSS) that encode digital data into DNA for long-term archival. Their work spans genomic data preservation, consumer media encoding, and enterprise-grade cold storage use cases.
