GuRu Wireless

GuRu Wireless was founded in 2017 following a decade of university research by a team of scientists and engineers from Caltech to enable commercial deployment of wireless energy transfer at distance. The company has solved long-lingering technical problems in wireless energy transfer through hardware, software, firmware, thermal and electromechanical engineering, and has completed proof-of-concept projects with customers in industrial, commercial and defense applications. Starting in 2024, GuRu began developing end-to-end solutions for persistent flight and ISR capabilities via small unmanned aerial systems, using its proprietary Long-range Wireless Power Beaming platform to keep drones airborne without landing for battery changes.
