Gulf Coast Express

Gulf Coast Express Pipeline LLC (GCX) is an approximately 500-mile natural gas pipeline transporting nearly 2 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day from the Permian Basin in Coyanosa, TX to markets along the Texas Gulf Coast. The roughly $1.75 billion pipeline project, majority-owned and operated by Kinder Morgan, began construction in May 2018 and entered service in 2019. In 2024, GCX reached a final investment decision for an approximately $455 million expansion project to increase capacity.
