IMD Group (I.M.D. S.p.A.) is an Italian MedTech company headquartered in Grassobbio, Lombardy, with over 40 years of experience designing, developing, manufacturing, and distributing X-ray diagnostic imaging systems and components. Since its founding in 1981, the group has served key clinical applications in radiology, offering a comprehensive range of products including mobile X-ray equipment, C-arm fluoroscopy systems, and X-ray generators. The group operates through two main business units: IMD Generators (X-ray generators) and the Technix/Intermedical division (X-ray imaging devices).
