GlowRoad is India's largest social commerce reseller platform, enabling individuals — particularly homemakers, students, and first-time entrepreneurs — to start online businesses with zero investment. Resellers curate products from GlowRoad's catalog of over 300 categories sourced directly from manufacturers and wholesalers, then sell them through WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram. The platform provides virtual storefronts, supplier access, logistics support, cash-on-delivery options, and commission earnings on each completed sale. With over 6 million resellers across India, GlowRoad has built the country's largest peer-to-peer commerce network focused on economic empowerment. Founded in 2017 by Sonal Verma, Kunal Sinha, Shekhar Sahu, Nitesh Pant, and Nilesh Padariya, the company was acquired by Amazon India in April 2022 as part of Amazon's social commerce expansion strategy in one of its key overseas markets.
