Général Emballage is Algeria's leading manufacturer of corrugated board and packaging solutions. The company produces made-to-order corrugated sheets (B, C, E, and F flutes; double-double BC and BE), packaging boxes, display units, and vegetable and fruit trays, along with high-resolution post-printing in up to 6 colors with full or selective varnish. Operating multiple factories across Algeria — in Akbou, Oran, and Setif — the company serves a wide range of industries including food, pharmaceutical, archiving, and retail. Général Emballage also runs a paper and cardboard recycling program to close the loop on packaging waste. The company is an ADP Funds portfolio company and has commissioned Africa's largest paper machine from ANDRITZ for a new greenfield mill in Naâma, Algeria, targeting approximately 350,000 tonnes of paper production.
