FloQast is an Accounting Transformation Platform created by accountants, for accountants, headquartered in Sherman Oaks (Los Angeles), California. Founded in 2013 by Mike Whitmire, a former auditor and CPA who recognized the accounting profession's critical need for purpose-built software, FloQast automates accounting workflows, accelerates the financial close process, and reduces audit costs. The platform integrates with leading ERP systems and cloud storage solutions, using AI agents to automate reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and compliance workflows. FloQast serves over 2,900 customers globally including enterprise accounting teams at Lululemon, DoorDash, Chipotle, Major League Baseball, Shopify, and Roblox. The company reached $200 million ARR in January 2026 and employs approximately 800 people across offices in the US, UK, and Australia. FloQast has raised over $280 million in venture funding, including a $110 million Series D from Meritech Capital that valued the company at $1.2 billion, and has consistently ranked among North America's fastest-growing companies on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500.
