Finzi

Finzi is a Colombian fintech company founded in June 2021 targeting youth and Gen Z users aged 10 and older. The platform offers a 100% digital savings account and Visa® debit card designed to teach financial literacy through gamification. Users can set personalized savings goals, complete missions to earn money, learn financial concepts through an integrated video game, and manage household tasks and expenses. Parents can link and monitor up to three youth accounts, set spending limits, restrict high-risk merchant categories, and block/unblock accounts at any time. Finzi supports free remittances from Western Union, Tango, Revolut, and Paysend, and its accounts are backed by a local Colombian bank and insured by Fogafin. The company grew to over 250,000 registered users before being acquired by Girasol Payment Solutions in January 2024.
