Fastagger

Fastagger is a Kenyan deep-tech startup founded in 2019 that builds AI and machine learning infrastructure designed to run on low-power, intermittently connected devices. The company's flagship product, Auni, is a business intelligence assistant that integrates with M-PESA to convert mobile money financial statements into actionable insights for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Auni launched on the Safaricom M-PESA Business App in March 2024 and attracted over 600 MSMEs in its first month. Fastagger's technology is designed to work offline on low-end smartphones, eliminating the need for constant internet connectivity. The company participated in the Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First program and has expanded partnerships with Safaricom and the Kenya Private Sector Alliance. Its mission is to democratize AI for African businesses and beyond, with expansion plans targeting Tanzania, Ethiopia, DRC, and Egypt.
