Social networking for conferences
EventVue was a Boulder, Colorado-based startup founded in 2007 through the TechStars accelerator program that built social networking tools for conferences, enabling attendees to connect and network with each other before and during events. The company received seed funding in 2007 but shut down in early 2010 after being unable to achieve sustainable traction. EventVue pioneered the concept of private online communities for conference attendees but ultimately could not find a viable business model at scale.
