Empirium is a verified marketplace connecting pre-screened buyers and suppliers in critical industries, including defense, advanced manufacturing, and aerospace. The platform streamlines sourcing by enabling direct relationships between qualified U.S. buyers and vetted domestic and international suppliers, without brokers or intermediaries. Every company on the marketplace undergoes rigorous onboarding including business registration verification, beneficial ownership screening against sanctions and debarment lists, and ongoing compliance monitoring for the life of their membership. Empirium supports transactions across four categories: ready-to-ship materials and components, on-demand manufacturing and rapid prototyping, field-ready end systems for commercial and public-sector buyers, and overstock or surplus inventory. All international suppliers must be TAA-compliant (Trade Agreements Act) or from allied nations. The platform charges a flat $100 per month membership fee with no transaction markups.
