Eleqtron

eleQtron is a German quantum computing hardware company developing and operating trapped-ion quantum computers using its proprietary MAGIC (Magnetic Gradient Induced Coupling) technology. Founded in 2020 as a spin-off from the Department of Quantum Optics at the University of Siegen, eleQtron's microwave-controlled qubit architecture is more precise, robust, and scalable compared to laser-based qubit control. The company sells quantum computer access to commercial enterprises, research institutions, and government agencies — with major orders from the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and Forschungszentrum Jülich. eleQtron has grown to over 90 international experts and has secured more than €50 million in order volume, with investors including Earlybird Venture Capital.
