Edulution

Edulution is a social enterprise operating in Switzerland, Zambia, and South Africa that deploys offline, curriculum-aligned adaptive learning technology to close foundational learning gaps in under-resourced public schools across Southern Africa. The platform delivers personalized maths and literacy instruction on tablets without internet connectivity, enabling learners to progress at their own pace while freeing teachers to focus on higher-value facilitation. Since launching in 2015, Edulution has reached over 75,000 learners, achieving median gains of 1.8 years of schooling in a single year and outperforming control groups by up to 34%. The organization also recruits and trains young community adults as learning assistants, addressing youth unemployment alongside educational outcomes.
