Dognosis

Dognosis is a Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup combining trained canine olfaction with brain-computer interface (BCI) technology and machine learning to build scalable, non-invasive disease detection. Its flagship product, BreathEasy, collects breath samples from patients via a face mask, which are shipped to Dognosis labs where its team of trained dogs — monitored via the patented DogSense BCI headset — analyze volatile organic compounds (VOCs) for disease signals. The DogOS suite of ML models converts canine neurobehavioral signals into quantitative digital predictions. Phase 2 data published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology demonstrated 91% accuracy across seven cancer groups, including detection in early stages. The company targets multi-cancer early detection (MCED) as its primary application and is actively working with regulators in India and the USA. Dognosis was part of the Accel and Prosus Atoms X inaugural India cohort in 2026.
