About
DOF Group ASA is a Norwegian offshore and subsea services company established in 1981 in Austevoll, Norway, with the original goal of becoming a leading participant in the growing North Sea offshore industry through long-term chartered offshore support vessels. Over more than four decades, DOF expanded from North Sea supply operations into a globally integrated offshore energy services provider, combining vessel ownership with engineering and project execution capabilities. The company organizes its business into three primary segments: Subsea Services, specializing in inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR), light well intervention, and subsea construction; Renewables, focused on floating offshore wind support services; and Marine Management, its ship management operations dating back to the company's founding. DOF's fleet includes AHTS (anchor handling tug supply) vessels, PSVs (platform supply vessels), and specialized subsea construction and ROV support vessels capable of operating in water depths up to 4,000 meters. DOF Subsea, the group's subsea engineering arm, was established in 2005 through the acquisition of GEO Group AS. The company's main operating centers span Norway, the UK, the USA, Singapore, Brazil, Argentina, Canada, Angola, and Australia. DOF ASA underwent a Norwegian court-supervised restructuring in 2023, emerging under a new parent company, DOF Group ASA, established May 25, 2023. In a major expansion, DOF acquired Maersk Supply Service from A.P. Moller-Maersk in November 2024, significantly enhancing its global reach and technical expertise in deepwater subsea services and renewable energy support. For fiscal year 2024, DOF Group reported operating revenue of USD 1,513 million and EBITDA of USD 529 million under management reporting, reflecting its scale as one of the largest integrated offshore vessel operators globally.
