About

Disrupt Technology Venture (operating as Disrupt Ignite) is a Bangkok-based startup education and innovation organization founded on April 15, 2012 by Krating Poonpol, a Stanford MBA graduate and former Google global lead marketing manager who spent eight years in Silicon Valley before returning to Thailand. The organization runs four core programs: entrepreneurial education that has trained more than 1,500 startup founders, executive education for over 100 business leaders, a corporate innovation program (launched 2016) that has worked with more than 20 corporations to build intrapreneurship capabilities, and the Stormbreaker EdTech Accelerator, an education-focused startup accelerator supporting 17 portfolio companies. Disrupt also operates the Stormbreaker Venture fund, launched in 2018 to back Thai edtech entrepreneurs, and the Disrupt Health Impact Fund, which invests in deep-tech healthcare innovation.
