Digital Public Works (DPW) is a US-based nonprofit that builds digital infrastructure for state and local government benefit programs. VMI reduces applicant income verification time from 45 minutes to under 6 minutes and has demonstrated 85%+ submission rates in pilots across several US metropolitan areas. DPW is philanthropically funded by organizations including the Families and Workers Fund, Pritzker Children's Initiative, DRK Foundation, and AARP Foundation, and operates on a cost-recovery model where states pay for the service at cost once piloted.
