Digital Frontiers Institute

Digital Frontiers Institute (DFI) is an African non-profit organization established in 2015 and headquartered in Cape Town, South Africa, that delivers high-impact learning experiences to strengthen individuals and institutions driving inclusive development in the digital economy. Operating as a brand of Digital Frontiers, DFI focuses on digital finance, gender equity, digital public infrastructure, youth employment, and climate resilience. The institute integrated offering includes structured learning experiences and professional certifications including the Certified Digital Finance Practitioner designation, Communities of Practice, Digital Learning Solutions, and Programme Delivery in collaboration with governments, multilaterals, and development sector organizations. To date, DFI has trained over 26,500 industry professionals from more than 166 countries, delivered over one million instructional hours, and built alumni networks active in central banks, fintech startups, NGOs, and governments worldwide.
