As a glasvezel (fiber) specialist, the company has connected approximately 1.7 million premises across the Netherlands with next-generation gigabit-speed fiber internet. Originally founded in 2002 as part of the DELTA regional utility group in Zeeland, DELTA Fiber secured EUR 2 billion in financing in 2021 to accelerate its national fiber rollout. The company operates as both a wholesale infrastructure provider and a direct-to-consumer internet and TV service under the DELTA brand.
