Davia

Davia is an open-source tool designed for AI coding agents to generate interactive internal documentation for codebases. When an AI coding agent uses Davia, it writes documentation files locally with interactive visualizations and editable whiteboards that developers can edit in a Notion-like platform or directly in their IDE. Davia integrates with popular AI coding tools including Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Claude Code, and Augment. Developers install the Davia CLI, run `davia init` to configure their coding agent, then ask their agent to generate documentation — producing visual wikis with diagrams, flowcharts, and editable whiteboards. The project is MIT-licensed, open-source, and has accumulated over 1,600 GitHub stars since its alpha release in late 2025.
