DataStax provides Astra DB, a cloud database built on Apache Cassandra, enabling enterprises to build and scale AI applications with real-time, vector-capable data access. The company also offers Langflow, an open-source low-code tool for building generative AI applications with over 100,000 GitHub stars, and DataStax Enterprise for on-premises deployments. DataStax was acquired by IBM in February 2025 to strengthen IBM's watsonx AI portfolio.
