Cova

Cova was a Nigerian wealthtech startup founded in December 2021 by Oluyomi Ojo and Yomi Osamiluyi. The platform allowed users to track and manage all their assets — including bank accounts, stocks, cryptocurrency, mutual funds, and other digital assets — from a single dashboard, while also providing estate planning features to ensure loved ones could locate assets in the event of death. Despite significant fundraising and a unique value proposition in personal finance management, Cova shut down operations in February 2024 due to challenges gaining user traction and the absence of a clear path to profitability.
