About

Concert Window was a New York City-based live music streaming startup founded in September 2010 by Dan Gurney (CEO) and Jon Daily (CTO). Dubbed 'the Netflix for live concerts' by TechCrunch, the platform streamed live shows from partner venues across the United States, providing all the technical equipment and cameras needed — venues only required an internet connection. By 2013 the platform was broadcasting over 100 live shows per month featuring 1,500+ artists across 15 partner venues, and had quadrupled revenue over five months. Tickets were priced under $10, with two-thirds of revenue returned to venues and artists — a revenue split comparable to iTunes and app stores. Concert Window also partnered with Berklee College of Music to stream student performances. The company operated continuously from 2011 through 2019, when it shut down. The concertwindow.com domain is no longer active.
