CompuDyne Corporation is a provider of products and services to the public safety and security market, operating through two core subsidiaries. Its Tiburon subsidiary develops mission-critical software solutions for law enforcement agencies, fire and rescue organizations, and corrections agencies, enabling dispatch, mobile communications, and records management. Its Norment subsidiary is the largest systems contractor and electronics systems integrator for prisons and detention centers in the United States. CompuDyne was backed by Clearlake Capital Group, which invested in 2007, and the investment has since been realized. The company is headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland.
