Compsol eCOIDA is a South African insurtech company providing an online Injury on Duty (IOD) claims management platform. Founded in 1999 by Fritz Luttich and Trevor Allnutt, the company operates a central database that connects all role players in real-time — employees, employers, medical service providers, and the Compensation Fund — enabling accurate, paperless, fraud-resistant IOD claims processing. CompSol services over 1,000 medical service providers and more than 100,000 employers across South Africa, managing approximately 43% of all IOD cases in the country. The eCOIDA platform was accelerated through the Barclays Accelerator Programme to expand into the short-term insurance industry. The company is headquartered in Port Elizabeth (now Gqeberha), South Africa.
