Comanav (Compagnie Marocaine de Navigation) is Morocco's leading maritime shipping company and a wholly owned subsidiary of CMA CGM, the global container shipping group. Founded in 1946, the company operates bulk, container, Ro-Ro, and passenger transport services connecting Morocco to major European ports including Rotterdam, Antwerp, Barcelona, and Genoa. Comanav manages a fleet of 14 vessels with a capacity of 3,300 TEU and transports approximately 60,000 TEU, 800,000 passengers, and 200,000 tonnes of goods annually, while also operating port infrastructure through its subsidiary Somaport.
