ClimateCrop Ltd. is an Israeli biotech startup that has discovered the gene controlling daily starch storage in plant leaves, enabling crops to produce more with less land, water, and chemicals. Using precise gene-editing (non-GMO), ClimateCrop's technology increases daily starch accumulation in leaves, resulting in higher yields in biomass or fruit states. In field and greenhouse trials, the technology has demonstrated approximately 50% more fruit per plant in tomatoes, 30% higher yield in potatoes, and stronger resilience to heatwaves, drought, and fungal stress without introducing foreign DNA.
