Chomp (formerly Impact Bioenergy) is a clean energy company that transforms food waste into renewable energy and biofertilizer using modular, self-contained anaerobic digester systems. The company's technology miniaturizes large-scale anaerobic digestion into decentralized units purpose-built for campuses, food processing facilities, supermarkets, utilities, and residential communities, enabling on-site food waste processing without landfills or incineration. Chomp's systems produce biogas for energy and nutrient-rich biofertilizer as byproducts, giving operators a waste-to-energy solution that reduces carbon emissions and hauling costs. In 2025, Chomp was acquired by Martin Energy Group to expand its food waste-to-energy solutions nationally.
