China State Shipbuilding (中国船舶工业)

China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC, 中国船舶集团) is a central-government-owned state enterprise and the world's largest shipbuilding conglomerate, established on July 1, 1999 and headquartered in Beijing. With approximately $120 billion in assets and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (600150.SH), CSSC oversees 60 subsidiaries including the most powerful shipbuilding yards, ship repair facilities, marine equipment manufacturers, and research institutes in China. The corporation covers both naval and civil shipbuilding, operating across shipbuilding, ship-repair, shipboard equipment manufacturing, and trading, and is a Fortune 500 company and key pillar of China's national defense industrial base.
