Central Group is a Thai multinational conglomerate founded in 1947 by the Chirathivat family, headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand. It is a leader in retail and service business in Thailand, with diverse investments spanning retail (department stores, specialty retail), property development, hospitality, and food & beverage industries. Central Group's portfolio includes Central Department Stores, Central Pattana (shopping mall development), Centara Hotels & Resorts, and various international brand partnerships. The group has expanded beyond Thailand into Europe and other Asian markets, acquiring assets such as Selfridges Group and KaDeWe. It remains privately owned by the Chirathivat family and is one of the largest family-owned conglomerates in Southeast Asia.
