About

Cell Vault launched the world's first T-cell bank to give healthy individuals an opportunity to preserve their most viable immune cells for future medical use. Leveraging the same cryopreservation technology used for egg freezing and cord blood banking, the service allows customers to bank T-cells via an in-home blood draw before their immune system weakens with age. The preserved cells could be used in future CAR-T therapies — an FDA-approved procedure that uses a patient's own T-cells to fight blood cancers — and across over 1,500 active T-cell clinical trials. Cell Vault raised $1 million in seed funding from Bling Capital in 2019.
