Celestial AI developed the Photonic Fabric, an optical interconnect technology platform enabling high-bandwidth, low-latency connectivity between AI accelerators, GPUs, and memory at package, system, and rack levels. The technology addresses the data movement bottleneck constraining AI infrastructure scaling. Founded in 2020 in Santa Clara, California, Celestial AI was acquired by Marvell Technology in February 2026 for up to $5.5 billion.
