Calypso AI

CalypsoAI was an enterprise AI security company founded in Silicon Valley in 2018 that built a full-lifecycle platform to secure AI models, applications, and agents at the inference layer. The platform provided guardrails against adversarial attacks such as prompt injection and jailbreaks, prevented data leakage and compliance failures, moderated harmful model outputs, and delivered audit-ready observability across all AI interactions. CalypsoAI initially focused on national security and government use cases — including work with the U.S. Department of Defense — before expanding into commercial enterprise markets in financial services, healthcare, and other regulated industries. In September 2025, F5 announced its acquisition of CalypsoAI for $180 million.
