Engineer faster.
CADDi is a Japan-founded AI company (2017) that enables large global manufacturers to unlock the value locked in their engineering drawings and historical procurement data. Its core platform uses patented AI to digitize 2D drawings (including handwritten ones), extract dimensions, shapes, and annotations, and make all historical drawings searchable by keyword and shape similarity. Manufacturers can connect procurement history, ERP data, CAM files, and quality defect reports to drawings to accelerate quoting, supplier selection, and design standardization. CADDi serves clients including Tokyo Electron, Subaru, Kawasaki, and Hitachi. Originally a parts marketplace, the company pivoted to SaaS software three years ago. It operates in Japan, the US, Vietnam, and Thailand with 800+ employees and has raised approximately $202M total. The company's March 2025 $38M round was co-led by Atomico.
