CabinDAO

Cabin built the first network city of modern villages — globally distributed coliving neighborhoods united by shared culture, economy, and Web3-enabled governance. Starting from a 28-acre property in the Texas Hill Country during the 2020 pandemic, it grew into a network of dozens of coliving properties worldwide designed for remote workers and creators. Cabin DAO pioneered community self-governance using an onchain token system where members earned tokens for contributions. After four years of operation, the community voted in 2025 to wind down the formal DAO structure and transition to a fully decentralized network of independently operating coliving hubs.
